If both of these tires yield too high a final vehicle height to fit in the garage I will head towards 295's.
If overall height is critical, forget about the nominal tire size and go by the static loaded radius numbers instead.
Either way, a typical "35-inch" tall tire, as in a 35x12.50, will usually fit fine even on a 10-inch wide wheel - if minor trimming of the very lowest parts of the fender is performed.
If that trimming is done correctly, nobody will notice that it's done. And it's especially easy without the civilian wheel well trim.
