New set of mirrors. There was just about nothing left of these thanks to the tight trails. Started with the first couple coats of WD40 on the bolts for the Air-O-Matic install next week.

help

Tonight I put in two brand new windshield frames/glass/seals. I was also able to get the driver fender back on after having removed it to replace the ip.
Just curious any helpfull hints to getting the windshield back in the track with the weather stips in place? thanks for your hints in advance. Mark

I fixed the flame heater leak on one of the 1970 trucks I had and sold it two days later. A guy from Junction City Kansas now has the nicest driving deuce I ever drove. I think it was the singled out GoodYear 1100 20 G286 tires that made the big difference. Anyway, he got a very nice truck, hardtop, heater, no rust, solid 50 pounds of oil pressure.... I guess I cannot keep them all. Glen

I replaced the turbo pipe that was completely rusted out. While fixing that, I really started thinking about a whistler turbo! Someone talk me out of it!!

I have a spare D turbo on the shelf because I was not able to talk myself out of it. It is still on the shelf with no danger of leaving. Next to a Merlin engine, it is one of my favorite sounds. (earplugs required :) )

Tonight I will be replacing all of the "soft" hoses that are connected to the turbo/intake. Tomorrow a coolant flush and replacement is on my list.
