Just bought two slave ends ($35 ea) to fab my own set up. Also bought a 1/2 robotool for $80
I need to stop now or I won't have money left for the tag. lol

So what is a 1/2 robotool? Have heard all the other stuff, but not that one.

In my searches for stuff, managed to find the stock air line that screws in under the dash and then picked up one of the glad hand lines as well. So far have not had to use them.

Dale thank you for the tip. Does it have enough juice for lug nuts? I have a 1/2 in air impact and it won't even phase the lug nuts on my 5 T. It works ok for the jeeps and even the M715, but nothing on the big truck.

No clue, I figured I could always use it on my CUCV if it did not. I bought the cheapest working unit I could find. The 3/4" ones go for $200ish

A couple weeks ago at work, we started building an above the ground tunnel for a tunnel training aid. There are 6 sections to a segment and each section weighs about 8 tons. I took my 1/2 inch and we adapted it to our commercial portable construction air compressor, it would turn the bolts, but not torque them. the company picked up a 3/4 and they took off like a shot. I took along a 1 inch and none of us figured we were man enough to run that 30 pound monster over head for most of the day. I don't have an aircompressor at home big enough for the 1 inch. Bottom line is the 1/2 inch is a darn handy tool to have around.

Here's the latest,

the water temp gauge has been replaced(thanks Ed!) and is working, I cleaned the ground for the flasher and replaced the bolts with stainless so it's blinking along fine and I went ahead and installed a dual power port under the dash for you to plug in 12 V accessories.
if I can find an armor interior light I'll pop that in, I already put in the wiring harness for it.

Hey Dale, I would not even think of not adding a muffler to it. It cost like 40 bucks from summit and takes something like 15 min to install. You can tell the difference in the sound from the parade video from the first rally (PNW2) I went to. Seriously... the army should be slapped for not putting that muffler on.

Yeah planning on it! You know the Government price would not be $40, the discount rate would be more like $400 at least probably closer to $4,000.

Ouch

Just returned from tag office in Lakewood. Talk about a royal PITA. The lady said I could not go Collector and had to go commercial. This was after much discussion and waiting. Finally she just entered it as commercial including sales tax it was $552.68.............ouch

its done at least.

What year is your truck Dale?
1971, should qualify for collector.....I just did not care to debate it and wait on phone calls to the State. Lakewood center licensing obviously has NOT done one of these or its been a bit since they have. They were clueless to say the least. Most of my cost was the sales tax portion since I did not have to pay taxes or 10% on GSA.

Yah, probably a good thing to get regular plates more anyways. You'll be carrying a nice load in her for your move anyways. Less to explain in case a LEO questions the load and collector vehicle plates.

Sometimes they want to get one year of regular license out of you on a new plated vehicle and then you can go for collector plate next year.

But they went straight to collector plate on my 68 5T, so just had to pay sales tax and licensing fees. I think if you look they also got you for tonnage. That can be a whopper.

Yeah Dan, I am. Great drive back to FT Lewis, the gate guard was cracking up at my new ride. I pretty much had a grin from ear to ear all the way back.
