Welcome to both SS and the m1031 club! You will in joy both. If you are not sure when the last maintenance was done you will need to do it all. Also you need to do the Doghead mod ASAP :beer:

A quick license plate mod is to buy gm pn 15634432 bracket from your dealer and install it behind the drivers side tail light. Bracket is about $13. And gives a factory look and if the lense under the light is still clear the plate will even be lit. The hardware to mount the plate can be bought at any auto parts store. The same kit is also used to mount the front plate on the bumper.

Search the CUCV forum. It is a cheap quick mod to save you starter and flywheel. Takes about an hour if you really take your time and cost less than $25.
