You certainly have the know how, if you can read the forums, you can read a manual. The mechanic is excellent and has no problem with me buyin the parts. Just wanted to know if there is a specific part number for the one I have in the truck. I do not have the time or know who to fix it properly myself.
ok. i have a question. i have an 86 M1009 that is not getting fuel for some reason. you can fill up her fuel filter and all and she will run but after that, she loses all power and will not run at all. would yall think this would result in a bad injector pump? or do yall think its just a clogged fuel tank??
thanks,
johnnyreb
best way i have found is pull the hose that comes form the fuel pump on the side of the block going to the fuel filter and spin the engine over and see if fuel sprays out of it and not just trickles or slowly runs out it should have a good solid stream
