Well June 26 in not that far down the road so time to get the thread started. I have a couple of AO42-III gen/Mule motors left ao42a.jpg $400 and one lightly used complete 16X16 lightweight frame tent $65016x16os.jpg That I will only bring if pre-sold plus the usually quagmire of military surplus nick nacks. Gimp, Junk and I will be set up inside in a 20X20 space against the wall in the trailer section look for the SS banner.bobo (2).jpg Also got some seat cushions that are for the M548 but work for other MV's like padding for your troop seats, they are heavy duty and weather proof. seat44.jpg seat44a.jpgThe cushions are 32" long, 13 1/2" deep, and just under 1 1/8" thick. They are firm, not soft and are bonded to an aluminum plate with 8X 1/4"-20 female threaded inserts on the bottom for mounting .

How many mule/genny motors are left? I have a buddy going to the show, who should be able to backhaul one... I need to do some checking.

Gimp,
Don't forget my tent floors, I'll bring sausage. If you guys are set up, I'll bring you fresh ground (whole steer) angus for the grill. You just got to cook it.
I'll be with Brad S, he'll have all kinds of stuff, plus his shop is right down the road.

This will be a first for me. I've never sold at a show, or been to an MVPA event. I will be setup in the trailer area with current items from Government Liquidation. I usually sell on ebay, and I will have a banner with my ebay ID, sw_ohio_surplus. Among other things, I'll have passenger side HMMWV sponsons, 10 lug low boy wheels (M1000 trailer), M939 spare tire davit frames, strut braces for MK-48 RBUs. I'll try and have everything priced, but we can always haggle. If there are any police who received an LESO Caiman MRAP, I'll have the passenger side ladder, which are missing on many of them.

As I have in the past, I will bring my stencil machine to the convention. I will produce custom stencils (with 1” tall letters) on-site at your request.

102_1197 (Custom).jpg102_1198 (Custom).jpg

I use stencil board stock that is 6 ½” x 20”. This will allow up to four lines of text with 22 characters per line. Characters that are available are: Letters A-Z, numbers 0-9, period (.), comma(,) apostrophe(‘), slash (/), dash (-), and ampersand (&). See example below.

grid form example.jpg

I can do the standard stuff such as "TP 50" or "CHECK BATTERIES DAILY", but can also do specialized stencils such as your screenname "SGT. ROCK", or your truck number "D-22". The truck number example is great for identifying your pioneer tool handles, chock blocks, tool boxes, ammo cans, etc. (The TM specifies 1” tall lettering for most of the instructional information on vehicles and equipment – so this is the correct size for restorations)

stencils (Custom).jpg

Here is a blank form to plan your stencil. Print a copy (or two) at home right now. Then go look at your truck(s) and figure out what stencils you need. Fill out the form and bring it to the convention.

Stencil Matrix Form 22x4.doc

These stencils are cut on industrial oilboard. They are easy to use and reusable. The oil board can be cut with scissors or utility knife. You can hold the stencil to the desired surface, tape them, temporarily affix with spray glue, or use magnets to secure them. Then lightly apply your chosen color of spray paint. Also, I have successfully used paint markers to "fill-in" the letters. (less mess and no overspray). I will bring materials to demonstrate if you would like to see how it is done.

The pricing is very simple and very reasonable:
I will do one line of text for $4 (includes the oilboard) .
For the super size deal, fill up the 4 lines for just $10 !
If you want to stencil a whole truck, and require more than one sheet, we can talk discount.

You do not need to pm me or reply to this thread. Just click the [thank] tab at the bottom of this post and then find me at the convention. I will be located in the inside trailer vending area with MWMULES and gimpyrobb.

(Lastly, I shouldn’t have to say this, but . . . I will not do any words or phrases that would generally be considered offensive, or would portray our hobby in a negative light. I know the majority of us are respectful, but there always is a chance for one bad apple. Please keep it proper.)

If anyone has any WWII style brake/tail/marker lights that are NOT made of gold I need several of each.

Also need a K19 Trailer if you have one stashed away in a barn somewhere!:papabear:
