You only had about 4-5 tons on there. It will handle a lot more. I wouldn't worry about the auto tranny. Just put it in low starting out loaded if it won't pull out loaded so as not to heat the torque convertor up.
Nice to know. The clay was damp but not wet so I must have been kind to her. I did put it in low range with one load as it was struggling since I was backed into a low spot. As soon as I pulled on level I put it back in high range.
