Nice to know. The clay was damp but not wet so I must have been kind to her. I did put it in low range with one load as it was struggling since I was backed into a low spot. As soon as I pulled on level I put it back in high range.

No wonder they put those weight ratings so low in the book. Its only rated 15K tow and you are towing 46,500??? Thats more than double...

Now I have a better idea how much weight the bed is capable of holding. This photo is of 4.7 ton of RAP (recycled asphault product). I could tell the weight was there, but barely.

Yep. We actually leave it off most of the time when we are using it off road unless we are hauling sand.
