I'm sorry about the misunderstanding. I will go ahead and research thatI really wasn't trying to be funny.
There is no magic bullet to finding a leak other then following the trail back to it's source. You said you changed the gasket.
Did you change the filter while you had the chance? If you had the pan down then you also drained all the fluids out of the lines and possibly the cooler. If you look in the service manual it will tell you how much the system holds once drained.
Do you know what the Vampire problem is on a HMMWV?
Do a search for it here on SS.
Have you checked the fluid in your transfer case?
You may find that it is way over filled. If so you may have the Vampire problem.
Have you pulled out your air filter?
If it has trans fluid on it or in the air filter housing you have the vampire problem.
The search feature here on SS is chalked full of very useful information.
Also you will find a nice selection of technical manuals that have been down loaded for the HMMWV in the technical manual section.
Also if you changed the gasket did you under or over tighten the bolts that hold the pan on.
