WillWagner pretty much nailed it.
Throttle linkage length was used to set idle.
When the pivot on the linkage broke, the ip closed the fuel rail too far = no start.
Once new parts were installed, idle was adjusted with idle stop & linkage was adjusted correctly, it starts & runs fine.

Now to to fix the hardtop on my receintly aquired m936A2.
Some idiots installed the hard top upside down.
I've pulled the top off in one piece.
I'll post pics of it tomorrow.
The back piece was installed upside down, so instead of the drip rail diverting water away from the window it channels water INTO the window, inside the cab.
Im really surprised the idiots didn't figure out a way to install the top on backwards.
