Can I run an HX50 on the 465 LDT?
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
Does the housing mate up with the exhaust manifold ? If it does then you can use it. Will it be the best for your engine, who knows. Can I run an HX50 on the 465 LDT?

Yes I found several. At the Turbo rebuild shop in Seattle I had several conversations with Xander (short for Alexander) the shop foreman. He gave me several leads on turbos that would fit and make good power for our Multifuel. I posted them a few months back. I don't remember them off hand. I'm into a totally different project now. I forget all the little details of my past projects after awhile.Hey rusty, was it you who had a thread about using a different turbo for the M35 a few months ago? Did you end up finding one that fit/was compatible?
Due to the compression ratio of the multifuel a relatively small turbo is actually just about perfect for it. Also the stock turbo from the earlier mechanical DT466 engines is smaller than a hx35. The C turbo is more equivalent to a hx30.I don't think ether of those turbos would move enough air to be effective. I would look in to somethingoff of a series 60 Detroit, international DT466.

Winfred if you want a t6-t4 adapter let me know. Have one sitting here I don't need anymore.
