Rear seal replacemnt

I've just torn into my rear-rear axle due to some oil-washed bearings and grease on the pads. Upon following all the instructions of re-assembly everything looks good but unlike the front, the outer seal on the rear seems to cause the hub to not spin as freely as the front. Is this normal? I have adjusted my brakes and they are not dragging. As I tightened the inner nut to 50ft/lbs and then backed off I noticed that it was more tedious to turn. It may just be my perception.:-?

Are you sure you got the seals completely seated?

Put it together, drive it and check hub temperatures. If you cannot touch and leave your bare hand on the hub after a good drive, it is too hot. If it isn't and the bearing is adjusted correctly, don't worry about it.

That was my intent. I have it together and was going to check temps and move on.
