As CARNAC noted above, I have the Microsoft Excell spreadsheets for the .pdf files. Same information just a different format.

Oh! So this is where all the VIN stuff ended up! Wish I saw this thread earlier :p

@firefinder, can you please post the Excel sheets you put together? They will upload to the website as a zip file just fine, if you didn't know that.

Sorry if I sent it to the wrong person. Not intentional. I'm burning the candle at both ends. In the old days that wasn't a problem but I'm 10 years older now.

Haha no problem! I'm happy you put all those numbers up somewhere! I was surprised to see so much older stuff like the Korean War equipment.

I looked up my dad's 1953 Dodge M37 last night and sure enough it's there! But a couple observations:

-The truck shows up in the no-winch (winchless?) list. The truck was originally delivered with a winch but the winch was removed sometime before my dad bought the truck surplus in the late 80s. So I guess it was winchless for awhile before being auctioned.

-The truck was sold with different numbers on the hood. I wonder if hoods were swapped before the truck hit surplus. That might have happened because the truck did have a bad bearing on 3rd gear, making a dreadful knocking sound in the transmission.

Sorry guys, I've been out of town. My objective is to get all of the Excell spreadsheets loaded here too! As you can see from the items CARNAC has sent, there is a lot of data.

Coming soon ...

I apologize if I missed it mentioned, but I don't see M998 anywhere. Is there a separate thread/listing perhaps?
Thanks, BDGR

Firefinder and ESPECIALLY, Carnac, I want to personally thank you for accumulating all of this info and putting it out there for those of us that are too dumb or too lazy to do it ourselves. The amount of work involved in all of that is mind boggling. Thank you again gentlemen.(y)(y)(y)

Deuce lists will take some additional work before I can post them.
CARANC, Firefinder, with all of the free time we have now (hopefully), can we PLEASE post up the Deuce list? The data so far has been AMAZING.

I have a list of nearly 200 Deuces of all flavors and years that I pulled from the 2009 VIN thread. I think I have enough data for people to date trucks based on the serial number. If that's not what you're looking for, the lists for the other trucks CARNAC has posted here don't offer much more info (in case you haven't looked through some of them already).

It's posted in a truck database I started in the conversations board.

Thank you, but Carnac’s pdf’s have THOUSANDS of trucks listed, just he and firefinder didn’t get around to uploading thousands more deuces. This info is SUPER VALUABLE to come up with year of manufacture from VINs as well as Army registration numbers from VINs.

?? Do I owe something. If so, I need someone to spell it out. I'm not tracking. BTW, I'm not off. Uber busy as usual. Seems like I always end up in a place with issues and then a challenge like a world pandemic occurs, or a hurricane, or a tornado, or ....... LOL

Hi Carnac, no you don't owe anything per say, just was hoping that if you or firefinder were stuck in the house like the rest of us, that either of you had a moment to upload the PDFs with the deuces data.
