Just a reminder that we will be having a trail cleanup weekend from Jul 2 at 8 AM – Jul 5 at 11 AM. We will take a break on the 4th to watch the fireworks... It is your chance to join the TRAIL CREW! Just make sure that you let me know in advance here or by email or telephone that you are coming so that we can coordinate on the meeting location.

We had a great 4th of July weekend working on the trails and celebrating the USA...
Had eight folks working on the trails, all of whom will be sporting Trail Crew shirts at the rally.

We got a bunch of the favorites cleaned up and ready and rediscovered a few that we haven't used in years.
Some are easy, some are not.
Some are wide, some narrow...some rocky, some grassy, some muddy...

Time was also spent enjoying the ice cold water in the swimming hole at the cabin... :)

Looking forward to running out there for a day or maybe two if I can manage. Would like to camp but with two dogs its a pain around large groups, so we'll just make the 1.5 hr drive and head back at night.

Thought I'd ask first!
Thanks for starting the thread!
I see that you are not the only one to have posted items (and I will add a post of my own as soon as I figure out what I have that needs a new home...).

For those that need assistance in finding threads:

Remember, there is no extra charge for selling your stuff at the rally nor are there restrictions on the amount of space that you occupy in the event field.

FWIW: I should mention that we have a multi-level loading dock on the property very near the event field that can be used for unloading/loading Mules, Jeeps, and other items, from the back of cargo trucks and trailers...

I recall seeing a video or picture of one of the members loading a jeep in a 5-ton a couple years ago, if memory serves. Certainly plenty of room there, I'll vouch for that. BDGR

Your memory is good... Karl had his Jeep in the back of his M813 in 2016 since the Halftrack took up all the space on his trailer...
More photos are on the event's Flickr page (links from the event website...).

You still have time to register in advance for the Graves Mountain Trailrides and Rally held in Virginia over Labor Day Weekend (September 3-7, 2020) Not only do we have plenty of room for everyone to spread out in the camping field, cabins and motel rooms, but we have forty miles of mountain trails and orchard roads, and plenty of local attractions for the family when they want a break from the old trucks... The registration form can also be downloaded from the event's webpage (that also has a link to photos taken over the years and other information).

Info about local attractions and events/activities at the Lodge can be found on their webpage. The link is on the event page, or for those who want to go straight to it: https://www.gravesmountain.com/
