Spare parts question

A while back Guyfang provided me with a list of spare parts for an 802a that would be good to have on hand. One item was listed as "diodes for the main gen". I can't seem to find them in the -24P, at least to the point that I'm sure of what he is referencing. Guyfang, could you please be more specific or point me in the right direction?

Thanks

-Craig

Maybe he is referring the diodes in the voltage regulator. They can be damaged in some cases by very high voltage spikes.

I posted awhile back on how to change out those diodes and upgrade them to higher voltage rating. I’ll have to go find it.

@Guyfang might it be possible to get the link to such a magical list?

Well, I think way back when we made something like that list. But lots of folks feel that once you start, there is no end in sight. As a self confirmed horder. I have to agree. Sure, we could sit down and hammer out a list. But man might need deep pockets for it, and most of what you buy will not be needed in this life time. Just when you think something is not needed, that part fails. But I would start a new thread to do it. Start new.

I've recently come across these little guys. Seems to be a good combo visually without seeing a breakdown list. Is it wort the trouble to hold things like this if a guy cod find it for his model? Anyone know where this would be in the TM?...can't seem to find it.

Yep, I have all that info......just can't find the dang thing configured as they are on the sets, with the wires coming out of the switch as opposed to screw terminals.

Thanks LITD.
Worst case just make some small jumper cables with ring terminals one one side, and disconnects on the other. If there is a will, there is a way.
