Yes. Everything thru there bolts to the lifting brace and the rear brace. So I'm leaving both sides but cutting 9" out of the middle. It won't be able to be used as a vertical lift. The girth of it is obviously to withstand the inward pinch the lifting cable regardless of whether a spanner is used.But beside that.. its not of any other real value.. look close though. If I am not mistaken; is not some of the spare tire carrier, mounted to it too? I could be wrong

Bracket #8 on this journey. Hydraulic valve and hand pump secured. bracket & sons corp.Since I deleted a whole bunch of stuff on that side, reattaching the control valve assembly needs some thought. Can I just bolt it to the bed frame? There's no bolt holes on that side of the block so I'd have to make another bracket or attempt drilling the block..View attachment 929029
