Looking to start gathering materials for my install. Thinking of doing the auto start route.
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
It's not new I have used it temporarily before. I've had it for some time now.Is this a new to you generator? Do you have any experience with military generators? Have you had this generator running yet? Lots of questions need to be answered to reply to your request.
I just shipped 3 Remotes out today.@kloppk has all the goodies you need to automate that beast, he has the Quad Fuse kit and MOV if those aren't done yet.

Sounds like you desire a fully automatic power backup system utilizing a Remote Start, an ATS and your MEP.What else would I need to auto start my generator when the power goes out?
What do you consider a low cost ATS? Which ATS do you recommendSounds like you desire a fully automatic power backup system utilizing a Remote Start, an ATS and your MEP.
I offer a complete system to use with a low cost ATS. Besides being a complete system it also has WiFi connectivity so you can monitor all the MEP operating parameters live (gauge readings) without venturing outside.
Popular ones are the Generac RXSW or RXSC series depending on your application. They are available in 100, 150 and 200 amp capacity. What do you consider a low cost ATS? Which ATS do you recommend
Would I need a complete kit? Or can I just use the remote Start kit, the generac ATS and my Mep? What is the ATS control card bundle?Popular ones are the Generac RXSW or RXSC series depending on your application. They are available in 100, 150 and 200 amp capacity.
The 200 amp runs about $800.
Sorry for all the questions. So without the additional card I won't be able to automatically start and stop the generator? The bundle includes an additional card and wire harness to monitor utility power, command the Remote Start to start and stop the generator as needed and control the Generac ATS.
It sounds like you are trying to do this without an ATS? That would be very bad as there are too many ways that could backfeed to the grid. Not to mention illegal.
