Didn't 'do' anything to my Humvee, but I did take her out of the garage after 4 months and take her for a drive.

Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
Sorry. Removed the pew video. I realized it’s not kosher here.Forgive me but when did Steel solders become You tube?
Why is this even on Steel Solders let alone the normal HMMWV section.
You apparently already have a YouTube channel.
Please don't bring it to Steel Solders .
.I finally got to sit in the back and play video games with my kids
996 ambulance, had to take the kids to school yesterday and we got there way too early. I added a power inverter and TV for them. Also made new (much softer) seat cushions and added seat belts.

I made them, the J hooks were there but the hold down was missing, I'm using "surplus" UPS batteries so I decided to make my own hold downs, just some 3/16 bar stock and I welded two cross bars to help keep the batteries from shifting.Where did you find the battery hold down bars or did you make them?
I believe it's supposed to be 06, but most people put 69.I've had this weight placard for 20 years now and finally dug it out of a box in storage. I spent a while trying to figure out the correct NATO weight for the truck but gave up because it's overly complicated. 52 looks good. View attachment 936968
.Been doin a little here and there! I'm a nobody with minimal skills, but I like learning. So...do my own welding. Do my own powder coating. Did my own painting. It's a 20/20 vehicle. Looks good 20' away at 20 mph! I enjoy the shop time when I can get it. I have tried to repurpose all my existing parts and buy as little as possible, but a few small things broke while removing them or had rusted through. Trying not to let the OCD take over, but you know how these projects snowball! My seat belt holders won't be seen under the boxes, but I stripped them anyway and powder coated them. I used Killzmat in each footwell and then put down the 3/4" horse stall mat. That turned out better than I anticipated and helped deaden the floor quote a bit. Anyway, I'm proud of it cause if you knew me, you'd be impressed. haha. Probably never drive it cause it'll never look this good again!
Installed the battery terminal cover kit.
Those are the later style OEM covers. They pop up in auctions every once in a while. What kit is that? Or is it homemade?
I found some field expedient classification that put it at 05 by itself, so 06 is probably a good bet.I believe it's supposed to be 06, but most people put 69.
AM general kit, 5935425.What kit is that? Or is it homemade?
We get it, advertisements are annoying!
