Centralia Lighted Tractor Parade 14 DEC at 1800. You must light your truck up for this one. The parade people have a desired goal of 1000 lights per vehicle. So far in 14 years I have burned out 3 converters, so went to a Honda Generator and no problem. We would meet at my house about 1530 and about 1600 we would proceed to the parade route. When we are done with the parade, we would like to go to Main St. Grill for dinner with the group. We are registered so we are good to go. If you need my address PM me. plahmann@gmail.com This is the most fun parade in WA. Proper uniforms for your vehicles era are encouraged.

What sort of paper work do you have on the truck? has it been registered before? If so a bill of sale and signed title. If not, did you get an SF97 form? What year is the truck? If it was registered before you shouldn't have any problems. If not you might be in for some hoops.

Hello all. Newbie here. I’m hopefully picking up my 925A2 this weekend and was looking to connect with some of you guys for events and also get info on registration for these trucks
There is a local PNW Steel Soldiers facebook page. We usually crosspost here and there for events but there are members who are on FB that aren't on here so some things get missed.

It has a sf97 from the auction and waiting on the sf97 transfer paper. I will hopefully have both of those with bill of sale. It’s a 1992. My understanding is I can only get SP plates in Oregon for this rig? Is that correct or is there a work around?

I have two, 1984 M923 with Collector Plates (WA) and a 1990 M923A2 (WA) Collector plates now but it took me 5 years. The 84 I bought from Gov Auction and got SF97. Went into my local licensing agent and got it no problem. the 1990 came from an estate and he hadn't gotten it licensed. He bought it from Gov. Liquidation but had not gotten it licensed before passing on. His heirs could not find the paperwork. GL was unable to help without a bill of sale from them. I had no numbers they could trace to help. The State Patrol red flagged it, so the license people couldn't give me a license on it. Finally found a local licensing office that was helpful in getting a collector plate on it. Lots of work, but it was worth it. It is a very nice truck.
