Strange behavior here on this 2007 M1151
these are the vents: DL=Driver's Left. DR=Driver's Right. PL=Passenger's Left. PR=Passenger's Right. RU=Rear unit.

In the morning, cold engine, cold air comes out of ALL vents. As the engine warms up, not so cold (kind of room temperature) air comes out of DL and DR still pretty cold air comes out of PR and lotsa cold air out of RU (RU NEVER STOPS DELIVERING COLDEST AIR). After about 20-25 minutes DL and DR start gradually delivering cold air again, as cold as PR (not as cold as RU but cold enough), I do not have a clue.

Did that one work with the cable? I still need to replace mine with the manual cable style.

someone else had tried a cheaper valve, said it didn’t work.

I used the one from rock auto on my M997A2 and it work fine. It looks just like what was replaced. You can use this on the A/C trucks but will need to install the cable. All the mounting holes are there except for the data plate... a drill will fix that.

I just installed this valve from rock auto and it doesn’t seem to work. I’m guessing it lets fluid through as the front AC is only cool and then really heats up when you hit the accelerator. So it lets more antifreeze through as the water pump kicks up
Did you "test" it before installing it?
