Maybe I'll just try getting one of those mounts and see if it clears mine. If not I guess I can use it for something else, or sell it.
Thanks

Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
This is where I bought my mount from. The contact name is Sung Yoon. His e-mail and tel are at the bottom of the page.
Iltis
There are three pieces to the mount, the actual mount, which is in primer white, the hub with the Iltis bolt pattern(this is what the wheel attaches to), and the hex head cap screw that holds the hub to the mount. It actually is made so the wheel's back spacing goes over the mount so it gives it a low profile. I reversed the wheel to make it fit. Kind of like the wheel mount on the M151.
This mount may not work for you. You might need to find a different one.
Nice set-up. Where did you get the tire winch and crank from? I would like to try the same set-up. I just picked up a second M101 CND2 1/4 ton trailer to use with my Iltis collection. Still snow on the ground, but it was just above freezing today. Spent some quality time on the driveway getting the parking brake working on the trailer. This latest trailer was first purchased at auction about 2 years ago, then sat on a farm (only used for fire wood hauling).Well, here is how I did mine.. Thank you VERY MUCH to the SS guy who hooked me up with the tire winch and crank. I owe ya one!
Comments, anyone?
Chevy pickups (at least my 1993) has the same type setup plus use a ratchet handle. Waynewinch and crank came from a Toyota pickup truck
