Well I am about to go crazy.. just decided to go check my EUC status on GL and I see 'EUC Sent to Battle Creek"..... I am pretty pumped right now!!!

I can not wait to go get them from Ft Jackson. I have been a little OCD this week checking the GL site for my EUC status. It seemed like forever. Come on Feds, Send me that email saying "paid in full"!!!

When you guys say call them do you mean BC?

I looked on the GL sight and it said when BC approves they will send a Email out.

If I call can I get a faster response?

My last EUC took 4 days from the time it was sent to BC. This is not my first EUC but things are moving. Is this your first EUC??
Yes this is my first EUC. I hope they put it through quickly.

Any tips you guys have are great

thank you

Chris

Well, here's the process
-Submit your paperwork electronically via email
-GL looks over your paperwork for errors/completeness
-GL sends paperwork to Battlecreek (Federal Gov't)
-BC looks over your paperwork. verifies your information
-BC faxes your approval to GL.
-GL takes your approved paperwork to the GL EUC specialist
-EUC specialist then updates your GL acct and emails your notification (this last go around took GL 7 hours from the time they got the approved fax to getting my acct updated).

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do to speed this process up. Just play the waiting game. Things are moving much faster than they did a year ago though. My first EUC in AUG08 took 15 days

Sevo,
They are getting much faster with processing the first time EUC's. My first one took 13 business days from the time my auction ended, and I had to submit revisions!

The second one took 5 days.

Chris,
One thing to look for is a letter from Battle Creek in the (snail) mail. They usually send it out about the same time they send (again via snail mail) the notification to GL. BC to Cola, SC is faster than BC to Scottsdale, AZ, usually by a day or two. When you get the letter (first time only), then start checking GL about 24 hours later. It will be posted, usually between 11am and 7pm east coast time.

Tips?

Try -

WAITING. And then WAIT. And when you get tired of that go to chat and whine about it..

Won't help, but at least you're doing something.

Seriously though - it will happen WHEN it happens.

Watch your regular e-mail address you will receive a message from GL "Invoice ready for download for event 8888" This also applies to your GL account. Nobody will call you. Contact Tim when you get your invoice be prepared to tow or have it towed off Ft. Jackson. Campbell's towing has received several referrals on this site. There is also several member in the area that may be able to help if you just post and ask for it. If I remember correctly pick up times are before 1300 hrs.:driver:This too can be you!

I sent my 5th EUC this morning the same way I sent the other 4 - by email. I then got a note from Brandi that said I needed to fax the EUC. Hearing "EUC" my brain naturally interpreted it "EUC Paperwork" which would include the DL and Export Letter. When I emailed back asking how to fax a color copy of my DL I got a VERY terse email back "I said fax your EUC not your driver's license." Sorry if I think that's kind of rude but like I said, I've processed four other EUCs this year and this is the first time for them to ask for a seperate faxed copy. Anyone else have this issue come up?

They asked me to fax back my revisions and I emailed them. EUC sent to BC next day. My second EUC was exactly like my first EUC after revisions, and I still had revisions:|

I only had to make revisions to the first one. I keep the signed one I originally faxed in on my computer and edit the event number and date signed so I can e-mail it each time I have another one to send....just keep re-using the same one over and over. Same with the export letter.

Sent EUC, color copy D/L, export letter, customer ID, event & lot #s Friday June 19th with all the I's dotted & T's crossed. Alredneck should be able to pick up in Butner N.C. in 10 to 14 days if the past pattern holds true on this one also.
