How did you get the individual axle weight measurements?

I can't haul it using that truck unless I have a DOT inspection sticker, authority, commercial insurance, US DOT number, signs on the door, all commercial driver requirements, etc..

I was told the army used to haul M60 tanks around Ft Hood on the 172, and those ain't light. I've seen a few bowed 172's come out of Hood and I suspect that is how that came to be. Not bad for trailer with 6 hole Budd wheels . . .

I'll keep it for you FT, you can just swing buy and run it or haul it around whenever you want.

So did you find out about all the restrictions and requirments from the nice transport officer after or before you tried to move it?

hmmm,how much does the 172 weigh?What is the deck height?There a 5th wheel trailer with a deck lower that can haul a 40,000lb locomotive?:roll::twisted:
trailer weighs 15,600. I cant remember the height, it is in the manual

You said it was slow, did you start in low range on the transfer case then split to the high range to get everything moving?
yes low range then high. It pulled about the same as with my deuce on it, just slower in high range.

So did you find out about all the restrictions and requirments from the nice transport officer after or before you tried to move it?
I had permits and was just wrong on a couple things. they were very fair with me.
