ive never been able to find tire chains cheep for 900's id really love to get at least 3 sets so i can put some on each axle but if i was going to spend alot of time in the snow, id put them on all the tires. does it make a difference dunno, but it would make me feel better.

Ive got both and mostly like the singled one for its power assist steering .
took one of the dueled ones out for a test mud run at the shop and it was lots of fun
we have been in a drought and now are muddy since all the grass has died and the dust is wet for now

id love to see a deuce with 1100 XLs with duals. ive seen 5tons with them, and with them singled in the back but i havent seen one with duals. i think that would look sick personally.

and yes the NDTs do look better on these trucks then road tires. least to me.
Is this what you are looking for?

That pic that echo posted is how I want mine to look. I love the dual look, but like the look of the Michelins much better. If I wasn't so poor, I would offer to do some trading for some of your directionals there Lonesome..

I put the directionals on truck that is suppose to be sold this week. I have an Air Force deuce with 10 1100 x 20's on it. It looks alright and I am sure it will perform well off road. But that is more of a strain on the drive train. I do not doubt it can handle it, but I like to make things easier on my trucks.

That's not mine, my 395's are sitting on the floor of my garage waiting to be mounted. From what I hear the power loss is only noticable on the hills. But the RPMS at 55mph drop down to 2100.

I had dual NDT 1100X20's on my bobbed deuce. Everybody that saw it said the tires made it look a lot meaner. I sold it before I could single it out with bigger tires.
My take is.....if you want a stock truck for show purposes the 900X20's are what should prevail.
If you want better fuel mileage and a little better top end at cruise speed then single 1100x20's are the next step up.
If you want a mean appearence, higher fuel milage and better top end then the big radials are the way to go.
Bottom line is: It's your chicken and you can pluck it any way you want to.
We have no "deuce police" that dictate what you do to your vehicle.....just other folks with their own personal opinions.
