Anyone have numbers for NAPA bulbs for the composite lights in 12v. I need to put 12V bulbs in the 101 trailer.
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
I picked up 1156 bulbs today to change out trailer lights to 12V. Fit in socket fine but mil 24V bulb has 2 elements. 1156 has 1 element. Both bulbs have one terminal on base of bulb. For mil do both elements light up (redundance)? This bulb turn signal/flasher and brake lamp? Civ bulb has seperate element for each function as 1157 (and two terminals on base of bulb) as I recall. Does it meet DOT standards that turn signal is not flashing when brake light is on? Can't control 2 functions thru one base terminal. Or am I missing something?Application 12v Bulb Number 24v Bulb Number (what I had before converting)
Small bulb in front marker lights and taillights, dash lights 67 or a 97 (both work) 1251
Large bulb in taillights 1156 1683
Headlight 55-60 watt H4 70-75 watt H4
Turn signal indicator (in switch housing) 1445 313
right click save as, or right click open in new tab or windowIt's a .pdf file but I can't seem to open it either... and I've got Adobe Reader installed.
