Guys I know this may look crazy, but I saved about $800.00 dollars. I did not think it would work, but after a little adjustment it did. I did not even have to make new mounting plates. Here are a couple of pitcures. I will get one of my MG42s on top and take a few more pitcures. I am not cheap just poor.

I have purchased one of these rings also. I am going to use it as a ring mount in a modified M1009 top. Thats at least a couple of projects down the road. I have a MG42 they are very scary and give you a great deal of respect for our G.I.s that had to face them down. If you don't have one (mg42) it would be pretty simple to modify it to mount other M.G.'s, M60, 1919 semi's etc. Not nearly heavy enough IMHO for a 50 bmg. Chris

"One of your MG42s"? You are NOT poor:roll:

Nice mount.
That's what I was thinking :-D. Unless he's a class three dealer and has post samples. He would still have to have a PD offer to demo a MG42 but I have seen it done ;-).

Looks cool the MG42 should be a lot of fun off the ring. Put a fortress belt in it, and you can be as bad as you want to be. After seeing your pictures I am going to have to do something with my ring now. Chris

I'd be interested in where to get the legs and the actual ring mount. I'm sure I'm not the only one that would like a measured drawing of the legs posted either.

Thank you sir....that may be the ticket for a mount for my F-150. Looks nice and light.

I just wonder if I can rig it to work with my MG-34?
