Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
What are you going to do with the trailer and not the power unit?Ya I found a trailer and put a bid on it then got out bid and put bids on the other 2 and will probably get out bid on them. I guess I will maybe let them pass.
Seen some guys put on a lunette. Another grafted one to the back of a 5 tonWhat are you going to do with the trailer and not the power unit?
It would be neat if someone could fabricate a gear adapter to compensate for the different ratio.Too bad you couldn't hook the driveline to the back differential, but the gear ratio would be wrong.
Please wake up enough from your day dreaming, to post in the correct/appropriate Forum.I day dream to much!
I know for a fact you can own them, finding them is the trick I have 2, bought my 1st in 2003 the 2nd in 2006 havent seen another for sale after that one, which may be a good thing for anybody concidering buying one they are very expensive to restore and the parts are imposible to find. all that being said I love the crap out of my mk48 Im just a few parts away from completing one the other I'm going to make into a movie prop and hope to recoupe some money so good luck with your search
I sent them an email about it. I've got an MK17 that would be nice to match up to the front...Ted's Trucks and Stuff in Dothan, AL has some HEMMT's. You might graft a HEMMT front end onto the rear unit.
Ted is good folks but real proud of his stuff.
