Well, the minds have met, we have planned, and well okay so we drank and played with fire also. So take this as an open invite to all that have an MV or interest in the MV hobby to the Fall eddition of PoofStalk 2010. We decided that it was best to change the name from PoofStock to PoofStalk to keep with the Fall harvest type theme and the CUCV incident (see my current avatar).
It will be at Poof's place on October 16th in the Watertown, WI area, and just as in Spring, there will be a convoy, food, beverage, general good times, and camping as needed. However, at Fall PoofStalk (weather permitting) there will be a trail ride at DrGreg's farm just a few minutes from Poof's place.
I want to thank Poof for his generosity in hosting this event for us. From those who were at the Spring event we can all tell you how much fun it was and I hope the same group and more can attend the Fall event. To all who do not have an MV and would like to come but think because you don't have an MV you can't go, that's simply not true. At the Spring event, I didn't have an MV and yet my family and I had a great time and I even got some wheel time. This is an awesome hobby and I have met some of the greatest people and made great friends. I even met Poof and DrGreg. I really hope many of you will make an effort to stop in for a little bit or for the day or even plan to camp overnight.
As with the Spring event this is a free event to all who want to and can attend. Most of the food and beverage will be supplied but we do ask that each family bring a dish to pass and donations are welcomed but not requiered. If anyone has any ideas of something to add to this event or questions please reach out to DrGreg, Poof, or me. I truly hope that I get to meet many more of you and start many more new friendships.
