nice job patracy.
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
The only net improvement you'll see with locking hubs is reduced fuel consumption when installed on the front. This is because the axles are no longer spinning, nor is the gearset/pinion/front driveshaft. Now, as others have pointed out, the rear axle needs both axles to be engaged to the wheels/hubs.
Hey Rich, did your truck come with lockers? I thought I heard someone say that at Haspin last year.man ..... WTF.... take it ez.. they were just trying to figure out why you want to be able to unlock the rear of a open diff 4x4 not call out your man hood.
IF locking can be installed on the rear axle ... can anybody recommend a manufacturer or brand name?

Ouverson Engineering and Machine : Hard Core Rockwell Parts :
Those are about the best axle shafts you can get!
And if you want to put in lockers now, but upgrade axle shafts later, then get his locker.
He can make a few mods to it and it will still work with the 2" 47 spline shafts as well.
M809 series 5 tons, not M44 series 2.5 tons.I think some Marine Corps trucks did have lockers.
Ain't THAT the freakin' truth. Also a properly formed question usually gets a properly formed answer here........or ridicule.
