New details help

i ordered one today, if you order a heavy duty application,I.E. Jcode there is no core charge. just tryin to help others in the quest for an IP if this thread is not allowed im sorry. I thought that we were here to help eachother. just passin on my findings with this vendor so others can make a decision between rebuilding theirs and buying one ready to go.....
Kwhopper, good to know about the core charge. I was looking at site and didn't push order. I actually didn't realize there is a difference between the "c" code and "j" code injector pumps.... I thought the "c" and "j" distinction was purely ther gooberment getting around emissions requirements for the vehicles... same engine, just designated differently?????

I learn something everyday on this site!!!!!

With this information I am going to local guys and see what they can offer me, price match only better!!! If they don't want to play I'll spend my dollars elsewhere!!!

THANKS FOR THE POST Kwhopper!!

I could be wrong, but I don't think the OP is related to the site in any way. He just found a deal on something that comes up in discussion here often and thought he'd pass along some good info?

[thumbzup] Porky here seems to think everyone is in violation. Not sure what is going on with him. Anyway I found the post helpful since Ive started looking for IPs and this came in at a perfect time. God help the poster if he found a good deal on tires as well...... I guess people cant post great finds? SOME people have to much time on there hands!

There is a link to the site not a price in the title of a thread , also The OP was looking for a source of parts . This thread was started to promote this specific
product and vendor

Why dont you just give it a rest. You are really starting to get on peoples nerves! Why are you always posting about other members threads? If they are in violation why not just let a Moderator determine whats right or wrong? Half the time you end up being absolutely wrong. If you want to be a mod then start your own forum and leave us alone.

You might check with Barrman. He found a reasonable place in College Station to rebuild pumps (cheaper I believe than this price). I don't dare post who it is in case I'm ostracised (kind of like ostrichcized only smaller).

So a proper way to have done this is to post "I found a great place to get rebuild pumps for a 6.2, pm me for details"??????????????

Porky, I hope you're getting the message here. You're out of line and getting on peoples nerves. It's not like you're the SS Police. Enough already. Please....

Porkysplace, believe me, you have to learn to let things go and if you think its questionable just use the report post button.

I know, lets follow all the rules and not post anything that might or could be used in anyway to help out others that just might be having the same issues with finding stuff for our MV addiction.

I think this site would only be left with "you bi_ch and they bi_ch".

I agree with persons trying to make a profit do so in the classifieds. Giving out free info on things is what make this site great and the MV community come together. I like the classifieds and have used it myself to get stuff.

Isn't that why the MODs are here to referee all the action going on? I say let the MODs do there job. Infomation exchange is how most learn, but being told your wrong by a user is like the guy standing at the buss stop complaning about the color of your car as you pass by. Everyone has a soft spot and if touched wrong there goes that broken record again.

Everyone needs to lighten up (just alittle)

I certainly didn't mean for my comments to open a torrent of abuse against any poster (and it's taking away from the OPs intent to spread some information).

Rules are there for a reason and my comment was just that I didn't feel this post fell into an area that was against the rules. The post was not a "for sale" ad and it was not posted by a "vendor" for solicitation.

I did add a comment that 1 individual doesn't need to be the arbiter of what is allowed and what is not. That is for the Mods or Admin to do. Yes we need to police ourselves, but the key to that phrase is WE. I have, in the past, commented that "For Sale" ads are not to be posted in the forum, as have others, but have not made a habit of searching out those posts and commenting on every one.

At this point I think we've started :deadhorse: and can just let it go.

I did not even get as far as your post when I stated my opinion. This isnt the first time Ive done this in regards to Porky. I hope though it will be the last.

As far as the IP I think its a pretty good post and the price is better than I have found before. This post helped me. Thanks!

Kwhopper, thanks for posting this. I am in the market for a non-leaking pump. Let us know how the install goes, and how the pump performs.
