I looked at the existing threads and got so-so info.
1) removal of the IP is recommended - is this really necessary?
2) Westech offers newly made hoses (have not heard back from him, yet). I'd rather go with new material on this one than with OEM stock of unknown age. Any feedback on his hoses? A member could not get the fittings to work that a local shop had crimped on for him. I try to avoid that.
3) any other tips (tools? techniques?) worth sharing?
