    looking to get a mule

I would say more like working on a Volkswagen engine. Horizontally opposed, air-cooled, lots of shrouds to direct air. Fairly simple magneto system, once you understand it. Parts WERE readily available from Bill Watson; have no idea now that he has evidently sold out.

    Bill Watson Mule Parts closed

IT IS TRULY A SAD DAY FOR THE MULE COMMUNITY!!!!!! Bill is one of the finest men I have dealt with in ANY business. How often do you have someone who will ship you hundreds or thousands of dollars worth of parts and just include an invoice assuming you will pay it? I don't know any of the...

    looking to get a mule

major519 has it right about what to look for I purchased mine running for $4500 a couple years ago and spent about $2500 with Bill Watson buying everything in the world for it. First thing I did was convert to 4 wheel steer. To me they are a pain with 2 wheel steer. Mine is restored to the MAX...

    Electric winch

I extended my frame 6", beefed up my bumper considerably between frame members and mounted mine behind bumper and between the frame members; kinda like out of sight. I would be glad to email photos direct to you from my phone; have not mastered loading them on this site. PM me if you want me to...

I agree with gimpyrobb, try adjusting the sound with the screw on the back. I actually took mine apart, cleaned them completely, sprayed some WD-40 on the diaphram, reassembled them and "played" with the adjustment until I got the sound I wanted.

    Seabee Deuce Crew Cab Project

I would not say 50%, but you can at least hear yourself think, carry one some type of conversation with a passenger, but everyone still knows you're coming; nothing stealth about it! I would do it again in a heartbeat.

I think that the cholesterol in cheeseburgers blocks something in the brain that makes you forget things; I think this is true but I'm not sure I'm remembering correctly--oops--maybe too many cheeseburgers!

    A3 Crew Cab Build Starts

Good luck on the test drive [hopefully] this weekend; I'm sure it will be a milestone in the build process !!

    A3 Crew Cab Build Starts

Sounds like a perfect scheme for the doors. I mounted a toolbox from a 5 ton on the drivers side to mimic the fuel tank on the passenger side; don't know what I'd do without it.

    M109 Mobile Man Cave Begins

I thought pigeons had been roosting on your exhaust pipe and then realized those were welds, not pigeon poop!

    tire size = mph?

I run 14x20's on my bobber [48"] and when on the interstate the deuce "settles in" at about 60 + mph. A 300 mile trip that I have made a couple of times took a few minutes short of 5 hours. [speedometer is about 20% off--says I am running 50 +] I drive carefully and TRY to anticipate the idiots...
