Well, I looked for the receipt or the boxes they came in, and can't find em. Sucks, cuz I have a folder with all the receipts and part numbers in it, but I guess they didn't make it into the folder. I might have stuck them somewhere else.
Hmm, that's strange.
Mine were packaged like sparkplugs. Little individual boxes for each one. I'll dig thru my receipts tomorrow and see where I got em from.
Nice! They look good in black. Mine are green, but I painted the entire truck including the interior black, so the green belts look slightly out of place.
Btw, nice FD!
It's been having to spend some time outside due to the shop being full. Poor thing has been getting the full winter experience after living in Georgia it's whole life lol
The glow plugs decided they don't want to work anymore. It's been low 20s° here during the day and around 5° at night. So it's beached until I figure out why they decided to quit.
Right now all I know is the start box does turn on the wait light, and is definitely doing something as I hear it...
My 1097A2 runs cold in the winter. The only time it warms up is on the highway going 75mph. Around town, it'll struggle to crack 180, and if it's decently cold, it'll barely reach 160. Sucks, because the heat doesn't get that hot.
I had a similar issue with the tails but coming on at all, sometimes flickering, or staying on constantly.
Traced it back to a faulty brake light switch. There was no way to adjust it to the point where they would work properly. A new switch solved everything.
