After I did The mod. mine stuck on again months later, I tapped it with a hammer and it has been starting fine, until today at lunch, it stuck on again, how hard is it to replace the key switch? Which switch do I order? Thanks for your replys.
My m1009 developed a rattle, I remember reading a post telling a fellow to check his starter heat shield, well I crawled under to have a look and sure enough the rear bolt had backed out. I wrenched it and am now good to go! Thanks again brothers for a very helpful site!

Scott, thanks for the reply, this is the second starter that has done this, in June I had one put on and i got two days out of it and i called the shop that put it on and they replaced it with a different brand , now I know I have bad luck but DANG!!!
I left my m1009 running while i went in the house to grab something and when i returned,three to four min max, i noticed a drip, i looked under the truck an found fuel coming from around the fuel filter has any one ever had this happen?
