m915a1 top speed question agazza2, Nice to hear all the help you recieved. There are some good guys on this site. I have a question about the top speed of your truck. The red light on my m915a1 would come on around 2100 rpm and my top speed was 55mph. How does your truck reach 64mph? I'm...

Emergency load out help needed in Las Vegas Tomorrow!

Things just aren't going my way today. It's actually a little comical if I have a good attitude. Here's the story. I'm scheduled to pick up my m915 and m146 tomorrow at Nellis at 8am, but a handful of things hedged up my way. First thing, I failed the driving portion of my CDL test, I just got...

Where can I park my Tractor Trailer near Nellis over night?

I'm heading to Las Vegas next week on Tuesday to pick up a 915 and m146, but then my wife and I are going to stay an extra two days. Does anyone know where I can park the tractor trailer for a few nights after driving it off of Nellis AFB?

    445/65R22.5 on a m915a1?

I am wondering if anyone has tried putting 445/65R22.5 wheels on a m915, or if they would even fit. If not, would they fit on a m923?

I got myself in a buckle!

Possible local tow needed Alright, The EUC for the trailer closed today and I got ahold of Chris and Eddy at Nellis. They were VERY easy to work with and I appreciate it a lot. I had to reschedule a few times (I forgot of my wife's previous engagements). I was able to schedule the pickup...

I got myself in a buckle!

That is GREAT information. I can't use Gulfway because the truck will not be stored in an enclosed garage. I called progressive yesterday and they told me they couldn't insure the truck and referred to a company that never got back to me. Is there anything other information I need to tell...

I got myself in a buckle!

Thanks for the comments, it has helped me figure out better what to do. I spoke to a crane guy yesterday, and through him I learned of a CDL school that is one on one. I can practice with and test with them, so I believe I'm going to go that route. That is a great thing to hear about Nellis...

I got myself in a buckle!

If I could weasel some more time, is there anyone in the Phoenix area who would want to make a little money giving me a little experience behind the wheel and providing a truck and trailer to get the driving portion of the CDL test passed? I know that is a big ticket, just thought I would try.

Thanks for the info about the insurance. Do you know any good insurers? Yeah, I have a nice long list of things I'm bringing with me in my kit. I'm planning on inspecting the truck inside and out.
