Alt quit, swapped it with known working one from the recently acquired thrown rod truck. Still no juice. No signal from main power switch. Duh. Should have checked that first. Tonight got lucky and found the short quickly. Got juice again.

Looky what I found. I’ll mess with it and see what I can figure out.

Tactical Repair on YT might have some info. I don't think I have any spare/bad pumps. I know a guy from here moving there that has some deuces... What's wrong with the old pump?

Anyone ever try backing off the timing to decrease cylinder pressure and reduce chances of popping head gaskets?

I just had the pan off an LD and it had squirters…what is the external telltale, please? Thanks
