The 1009 has the same hydroboost as a 1008.

where do you adjust the regulator? It is hard to tell in that diagram. Mine likes to get up in the rpms from 1st to 2nd gear and I checked the lines. Thanks

There were several that sold the other day for less than $800 @ Redstone:cry: I paid $1100 for my 1008 and it was a parts truck and well worth it. Heck there was a bunch of 6x6 that sold for less than $500 I don't think we will see many more sell that cheap and I should have bought 2 or 3...

Yeah, I would only buy the ones from Cullman as parts trucks. Some of the ones at Redstone are the same way.

Well they have bypassed the resistor board and the solenoid is now getting power from the terminal block on the firewall.

Reckon why the military would have converted this thing to 12v glow plugs?

Reckon he wants to buy my cab off my parts 1008 truck:roll: It's not funny but dang.. I wouldn't tow a 1008 with a 1/2 ton truck very far.

Mine was doing the same thing and I replaced the steering shock and the problem went away. It was a skyjacker brand that I got from summit.
