    Water in knuckle

While cleaning alot of the mud of my Deuce after getting it unstuck, I noticed my right side boot had come loose (axle side). I guess it might have gotten knocked loose as it was pulled backwards out of the hole I dug myself. As I was poking around on it, some water came out from inside the...

    Dead battery meets rubber hammer

If I drew a line between the terminals, the sides parallel to that line I called front and back. Perpendicular to that line, I called the sides.

    Dead battery meets rubber hammer

First off, BIG thanks to OPCOM for posting this in the first place, it really does work. Recovered my first MV Friday, an M35 out of Little Rock. Once on site, the GL rep jumped it via slave cable to another M35. Truck fired up, but it had no lights, gauges, etc. Drove it from Little Rock back...

Air ride suspension on a deuce

While I am no authority, I do have a fair amount of experience w/air ride and air spring suspensions. It seems to me that going to an aftermarket air-ride system on a deuce would severely limit the articulation of the rear axles. Keep in mind that air-ride systems use leveling valves to...

    A little EUC help please

Update.... I just received confirmation on my EUC. 14 days from time of receipt (sent it on Sat, so I am counting from Mon) to confirmation. Granted, I am already on file w/the .gov as I have a C&R FFL, so that may have helped. :-D

    Mep002a

Find a local shop that makes hydraulic hoses, fuel lines are no different. A decent shop should be able to fab up that fuel line in under 10 minutes. 2 minutes searching reveals there is Pirtek near you. Not the cheapest vendor, but they should be able to fix you up. If nothing else, they give...

    A little EUC help please

FWIW, It must be alot faster to send everything via email. I won one auction for a M35 3/5. Sent off EUC 3/7 (Sat). Received email for revision on 3/11. Submitted revised page night of 3/11. Mid-day 3/12 I see that it's sent to Battle Creek. I won a 2nd auction for generator on 3/10. Sent off...
