Hey Guys can anyone tell me how well the Diesel RX DRX00070 glow plugs hold up. I have never used them and was wanting some wisdom from the been there done that folks.
I replaced mine a few weeks ago and it does make a difference. It shifts smoother, mine shift from 1st to 2nd at around 15 mph then from 2nd to 3rd 30 mph. The old one didnt shift until the engine rpms started screaming. When I pulled the old one off it was all gunked up.
I had great fun today replacing the rear main seal, new oil pump and oil pan gasket. I just love the smell of diesel in the morning, it gives me flashbacks to my Army days. :grd:.

I finally got my 5/4 up and running. Replaced the transmission , torque converter , trans cooler, both U-joints to the drive shaft, , Vacuum pump and CDR valve. Its nice to be behind the wheel again. My Next project will be the fuel system.
If I can remember correctly (and its been a while since my army days), the m151A1 its gonna have a straight fender with the turn signal mounted on top, the turn signal will be small , If its an m151A2 the fender will have an indention at the end for the turn signal to mount to, the turn signal...
