    M939 Transmission fluid level

Okay so my PTO does seem to work but the winch still don't move. Tank is full, drum unlocked, clutch lever fully moved and all cables moving. Oh well I'll do some more research on it later. I'm more concerned with my transmission. Last night I drained the fluid so it was perfect on the stick...

    M939 Transmission fluid level

Did not check the vent but I was driving in ice and snow last night. Maybe now I know why I can't get my PTO to work. lolaua

    M939 Transmission fluid level

Hey folks I am having some odd issues with my M925 A0. I switched over to dexron iii over the summer and changed the pan filter also. The issue I am having now is with the fluid level. I check it after every drive in neutral on level ground. Some days the fluid is over filled then others its way...

    Shop Bill

Thanks for the input. I don't know why they went through the dog house instead of lifting the cab. Looks really easy to lift the cab. I take it that's what the bolts are for forward of the cab mounts.

    Shop Bill

My m925 had a bad misfire and blew back smoke every where so I decided to put in new injectors. I am an over the road truck driver and I'm not home so much any more. I kept telling myself I would find the time to replace the injectors myself. Well, I could never find the time so I took the lazy...

    M105A2 PPG Pittsburgh Paint

Thanks all. I'll have to post pics in better light after I get the tarp done. Honest comments can only help one improve their selves. If some thing looks like poop don't sugar coat it. Ducer LOL! Your deuce would look good in my yard hooked to it!

    M105A2 PPG Pittsburgh Paint

I just refinished my M105A2. It was painted tan but wanted it to match my truck. I followed the paint TM the best I could. I used "Pittsburgh Ultra Paint & Primer in one" exterior flat from Menard's. I let it sit for 48 hours before removing the masking tape over the bumper numbers. When I...

    Show us your Military Trailers

Yes it came with a green tarp. I took it off because I was not sure how it would hold up to highway speeds on the back of my flatbed. The left side is ok and does look new. The right hand side is fair. I am assuming it sat for a long time leaning to the right. Parts of the side body have little...

Just got my M105A2 home. Took the tarp off during transport. Pulls good behind my M925. Chain hooks are to small to fit on the shackles, easy modification will correct the issue. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5IfENciGgS4

Over filled radiator all of a sudden.

Not sure what kind of coolant your adding but make sure it has DCA or SCA additive in it. Green stuff is okay as long as your adding DCA additive. They sell test strips to test your coolant. Lack of DCA will cause cavitation of your liners in diesel engines. You might already know this info...

Over filled radiator all of a sudden.

You can go to https://quickserve.cummins.com and set up a free account. You will need your ESN number from the tag of your engine. In the parts catalog you will find all your parts numbers and some diagrams for your engine. I prefer Cummins or Bendix compressors. I once installed a cheap trux...
