    M923A2 keyed ignition

I started with a 3/4 inch step bit in my drill and then opened it up a bit more with my dremel and a sanding drum.

    M923A2 keyed ignition

I finally got a nice day to install a keyed ignition in my M923A2, I'm pretty happy with the results . I purchased a Borg Warner CS10 3 position ignition switch for about fifteen dollars. I did have to drill a larger hole in the dash panel to install it so it would be a little bit of work to...

    M809-series (M818) Air Brake Retrofit

Great work, almost time to install an air ride seat.

Registering an M1078 in Washington State

Living in a small community has some advantages. I was in and out of my local DMV in ten minutes when I licensed my M923A2. Idaho is easy, you can get non commercial truck plates up to 60,000 pounds. My truck is registered the same as almost every large farm truck .

ANyone know where to get an Auxillary switch panel of sorts for ancillary lights??

I got this one from Artisan , it will hold two switches and indicator lights. I think he also makes a larger one, they are very good quality. This reminds me I still need to get my auxiliary lights mounted.

fuel shutoff solenoid on the cummins 8.3

When my shut off solenoid quit I just removed it and use the emergency shut off, pull to cut the fuel and push it back in to start. Just remember the proper shut down sequence.

From one border to the other in a deuce and m105

If you come up US Highway 95 through Idaho I live a little south of Coeur d'Alene and can help if needed. US95 is a nice drive , I have done it more times than I can remember . But it is probably faster and more populated to take I84 through Oregon, then to I82 and I90 through Washington. Have...

    Exhaust flapper For M923A2

I have thought about it, but I think a person could buy one cheaper than I could make one for if i had to buy the materials . Almost all of the parts I used came out of the inside of the muffler when I gutted it.

Works great. Opens when it should, closes when it should and no rattles. This picture is at idle.

    Exhaust flapper For M923A2

A quick project to keep the birds and bees from trying to make my exhaust pipe their new home. It also keeps me from blasting the truck in the next lane over with soot.

    Artisan's M916

Replace that strap with some hundred mile an hour tape and you are good to go.

Was Stuck in M923A2, learned many lessons

Glad you made it out. I have been in situations like this and each one taught me valuable lessons I will never forget. I have been watching a lot of off road videos from Australia, I see them using Maxtrax extrication mats all the time. I don't know if they would have worked in your situation...

Attempting to manufacture my own hard top from scratch.

Looks good, I can't wait to see how this turns out. I have been thinking about doing something similar to my truck and incorporating some roll over protection into the cab.

    M246

That is one beautiful truck, if you ever get it south of Coeur d' Alene I would love to see it in person.

    Artisan's M916

Nice thing about Idaho is you can drive any vehicle with a regular operators drivers license as long as it is not for commerce, so we should be good and legal here. With a little instruction I think I will do ok and not run anyone over, I can't wait. Reminds me of my first California driving...
