    100% used motor oil fuel.

cool thanks for clarifying. ive been looking at "Simple Centrifuge"s stuff and it looks like one of the better ways to go. Did you buy the whole kit of build your own stand/container?

    100% used motor oil fuel.

how many times do you run the oil through your centrifuge? all of the research i have done on the subject says the oil must be heated to ~100 or hotter and be run through 3-4 times to reach .5 micron filtration.... not to bust your bubble. but it is more effort than you seem to be advertising...

    deal killer? or simple fix?

So if an m35 auction on GL states that "ENGINE WILL NOT START" is that a deal killer for a newb to the MV hobby? it could be something as simple as bad batteries, what do you think are the odds of getting the truck started and able to drive home. I am quite mechanically inclined and enjoy...

    100% used motor oil fuel.

we just had to change our first set of filters, about 300-350 gallons of WMO filtered. We are getting if from a shop local who puts the nastiest stuff in a different container than what we get goes in. 99dodge1500- i am running about 80% WMO cut w/ #2ULSD in my diesel powered k5, same engine as...

    Will this filter WMO?

Wow, the army and my roommate and i came up with the EXACT same system independently, makes me proud... this has been exactly my experience with utilizing low air pressure to filter WMO and move the filtered oils into our gas tanks. If you use less than ~7psi then the top and bottom bulges...

    Will this filter WMO?

i understand everyones concern and appreciate it. There does not seem to be an issue as of yet. this is not an airplane, no one dies if it fails, we just have to get a new $12 drum and dispose of an old one... if the "worst" does happen we will just make a BBQ out of the leaky drum, problem solved

    Will this filter WMO?

air pressure, we use 15PSI in 55 gal drums to filter oil through 3 filters, and 5 PSI to push it out to our gas tanks. oh and they WILL hold pressure, the top and bottom will bulge permanently, but no harm done. get an inline regulator and make a series of pipe fittings that go from whatever...

(wanted) success stories on 6.2l svo/wvo conv.

i have been running my blazer w. a 6.5 on 80-85% WMO filtered to 5 microns for over a month now without issue. No problems with cold or hot starting, no excessive smoke, no fuel filter changes, no nothing. The engine runs MUCH MUCH quieter and i felt a slight power gain over #2. I live in the...

    100% used motor oil fuel.

To answer your question about the viablity of using WMO when properly filtered in a 6.2, it is an Indirect Injection Diesel, and it will run on a substantial percentage of WMO/ATF. I built a setup this fall for me and a roommate w/ a 12V cummins to experiment w/ WMO. His dodge will run...

speaking of which, call me up whenever and come check out our WMO setup... super easy, cheap, and effective. We have around 180 bucks into it so far and have easily saved 3x that in fuel within a month. Just north of you in SLO, i think i gave you my number in a PM rick
