    M934A2 Expandable Off-Road capabilities

My ‘92 M934A2 works great off road. I’ve taken mine deep into the woods of central PA in February for our annual winter camping trip. Negotiating around trees is a problem due to the size of the truck, but it has no problem knocking down small trees or going though deep mud. Our camp site is in...

M934A2 with 6CTA 8.3L Turbo Diesel will not run

Success! The rubber fuel line going from the water separator to the lift pump was dry rotted and leaking. I didn't noticed it at first. Had another one fabbed up at Ace hardware, installed it, bleed and primed the IP and the truck started right up! Thanks everyone for the troubleshooting ideas...

M934A2 with 6CTA 8.3L Turbo Diesel will not run

My CTIS lights all started flashing a couple months before my truck failed to run. I checked for air leaks, but couldn't find any. Anytime I drove my truck, all of the CTIS lights would start flashing almost immediately and would not stop. Could this mean my PCB is going out? Thanks

M934A2 with 6CTA 8.3L Turbo Diesel will not run

I have a 1992 M934A2 5 Ton 6X6 expansible van with the 6CTA 8.3L Cummins Turbo diesel. When I bought the truck, it would fire up and run like a champ each and every time I would start it. Now all of a sudden, all it will do is turn over, but not stay running. I've already replaced the fuel...

San Antonio, TX to Forrest, IL on 01JAN2014

Good luck on your trip and stay safe! If you haven't done so already, install a CB radio in your truck. It will make the trip a lot easier with truckers to talk to along the way. And your daughter should get a kick out of it also!

After I install the hitch, I need to find a diesel generator I can mount to the truck that can run the van. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks,

Thanks, but I don't think either of those hitches will drop down far enough. I found a Curt weld on hitch (class V) for up to 15,000 lbs that will work perfectly...

UPDATE: Picked up my MV from the inspection station yesterday and it passed!! Wooo Hooooo!! Now I can register "THE BEAST"! I had to add 5 amber cab lights, amber clearance lights to the front corners of the van, red clearance lights to the rear corners of the van, 3 red ID lights between the...
