This is a great thread. Looking for a used plow now. Hope to get it all set up with spreader by next winter. Playing in the snow is great with my M1028, however getting paid for it would even be betterrofl
Just use 2-12 volt or even 2-24 volt ones. Should work with out any problems. I have heard from several people 24v works really good on 12 V system.
I finally was able to come up with a lot of these. Gonna get them mounted on my M1028, put to on my deuce and hook one up to roof of my tool...
I am gonna use this as an indicator for my 12V add-ons. Driving, and Fog lights, IR lights ( I have a night sight with IR mode like parking on farm and seeing whats running around)back up spotlight etc. Gonna use the button for my glowplug control. They came out of a track, M113 FOV I think. Got...
I ended up installinga 600 watt lower radiator hose heater. I put it on a timer so it fires up about 2 hours before I usually need to start my truck. Big difference, really works great down here. cuts way down on my starter and glowplug usage.
Would like to say yes. However have not drove it enuff to tell if fuel mileage is going up any. I know the times I have put them on my gas cars and trucks I always got over a mile more per gallon. On my 2009 F-150 it went up 2.1 per gallon. That helps it pay for itself pretty fast
Also installed a K&N air filter. Never used one on diesel before. I've had great results on all my gas engines. Personally I wouldn't run anything else on my cars and trucks.
roflI have done so much to mine...and barely getting started:
Replaced Trans Pan and changed filter. Pan had permanent drain installed by GL forklift
Replaced doo pushed in with I guess same fork lift
Did rough push out bdy work to last thru winter...Doesn't look that bad after a complete...
None yet War WARWAG. It just has a large knob you turn by hand to disconnect the connection at the Negative after it comoes off the bolt on terminal. I picked it up at AutoZone for about 6 bucks. I put them on all my older (project) vehicles. Its cheapinsurance, saw a buddy of mine fry a nice...
I am interested in any experiences you all may have had putting gaugesin CUCV's. I used the search, however there is not a whole lot on there about it. Trying to do my research now some I can order and have parts onhand to do after installing my block heater and the Starter Relay mod.
