    817 primer pump help

I'll try to keep that in mind next time I work on the truck. I'm not real computer savvy nor do I have a phone that will take a pic worth posting but I do have a digital camera I could use if someone helped me post pics here. I will say its pretty straight forward. The inlet is marked so you...

    817 primer pump help

Just saw this. I installed a new pump yesterday but realized when removing the old one that it was likely just the 2 O rings inside. I plan to replace those and reinstall to see if thats all it was. If so I will have a new pump on the shelf as a spare if need be. Thanks for the replies.

A little late to the party but I have a 817 (and a few other old diesels) and have been researching running wmo/diesel. 2 things I'll mention. ATF and hydraulic fluids are the best to burn so if you have a hydrualic shop near by maybe see if they will give you their used oil. I have decided...

    M817 brake help needed

Thanks for the help, I will leave the pedal alone. I havent done an exhaustive search for leaks but the fluid stays up in the MC so I dont think there are any leaks. Also, the pedal does stay up, and returns to the top once I push it to the floor, it just doesnt do anything in the way of...
