Yes I bought it to save it. Working on carb then air roto chamber leak. Then a good greasing and lube
See if you can locate the Zenith. Night and day difference in starting and fuel usage. Also invest in the NGK/Brent Mullins plug wire adapters.

Got the zenith carb to install. Will have to rework linkages because of the previous Holley swap. Thanks for the plug info. The plugs I was hoping would last for some time because I still have not found a roto chamber I could afford or rebuild seals to repair. I know this if it sits through a rain in the yard it sinks 2 inches in the ground so it must weigh 60000 lb

haha it sure seems that way at times, especially on muddy ground .. But M62's are "only" 34500# thereabouts ..

Crazy to think the Western Star tractor w/ 36ft triaxle dump trailer i once ran Tare'd at 36200# .. When parked next to the M62 nobody could ever guess the two were so very close in weight

I can take pictures of a stock linkage if you like.

I'm doing this on my phone so I couldn't put the verbiage in with the pictures because the phone is smarter than I am!

First picture is looking at the firewall and it's the pillow block and linkage that the pedal attaches to. It then cuts across the back of the engine toward the carburetor side.

Second picture is where the rod goes into the second pillow block on the passenger side and the lever is attached to the rod. The linkage to the carburetor attaches to that lever. It is pointing straight down at a 90° angle.
Third picture is kind of tough to see what it is but you can see the lever on the rod that runs along the firewall of the cab pointing straight down, and the linkage that goes from there to the carburetor is attached. It's about a 4-in straight run out from the firewall to the first Bend. Then it's about a 9-in run from that bend to the second Bend toward the carburetor and then about a 2 and 3/4 in straight run to the linkage on the carburetor.

The lever on the carburetor is almost straight up. I adjusted things so that the carburetor got full throttle when the pedal was mashed. There's also a crude drawing included I did on some graph paper to give you an idea of how things should look. Hope this helps
