Hello, I'm just joining the site after regaining an interest in military vehicles. I've been aware of Steel Soldiers for years after seeing threads show up in many oddball Google searches I've had. My uncle had a bobbed Deuce (M35A2 I believe) maybe 10 or 15 years ago which started my interest, but unfortunately I wasn't able to get that one. Recently, I've been looking at M809 series 5 tons, and I wanted to gather some more info before I went out and bought one. I'll likely post a thread in "5-ton and up" here shortly with some questions that I have.

Be sure to download the TMs (Technical Manuals) for whatever you decide to buy. They are a free download here on the site. Heck yes, post up your questions and several of the guys will most likely post up...

Welcome aboard from central Illinois....crazy bunch here that help and care for one another....TONS of info on MANY forms of MV available here......I drove a M52a2 when in the service among many others....yes that dates me, huh? Congrats on joining and good luck acquiring a FMV!
