Unfortunately that may have happened before I even bought the truck, judging from the sad state the hoses are in. I'm hoping it's still good, but don't want to keep the system connected right now. But even if I remove it completely I will still need caps to keep it (hopefully) clean once it is...
So I'm temporarily removing my Red Dot AC. Because it's only a temporary plan, I'm not going to remove the compressor. I've been trying to find out what size caps I need to get so that I can cap the compressor until such time as I put the AC back in. Do you happen to know what sizes? I've...
So I recently purchased a former Marine Corps M1123 and from it's unit designation numbers it came from 9thComm BN. On the driver's side there is a switch that I have no idea what it does or goes to, and behind the passenger seat is what looks like a push button that again I don't know what it...
So after purchasing in September, and fighting with GovPlanet and DLA, I was approved finally. Then the shipping company took a week and a half to get it to me, but it's finally here!
You're a patient guy, tpiekbp! I'm only at half the time you are, and "technically" TSC has one more week before I'm over their stated average time, but I'm still in the phone too GovPlanet one to three times a week, depending on my schedule! I'm sure at some point I'll have talked to everyone...
I bought a M1123 back in September. They didn't submit my EUC until November 14. I'm still waiting. This is my first purchase as well. This process is frustrating and makes no sense to me. I'm glad you got yours, but the jealousy is definitely there. It's obviously an "as we feel like it" process.
So, my question becomes: What did you buy? Was it a Marine Corps item? Recently my calls to GovPlanet have had the rep telling me that the Corps does it's own thing (which as a former Marine I know is true), but still. I'm still waiting for my approval 🤬
Theoretically, once you have your first EUC approved any follow on purchases should be approved quicker. That's one thing that the GovPlanet reps ask me every time: "Is this your first purchase?" But that's only how it's supposed to work in theory...
So, I called again today... Different person of course. She told me it takes about 10-12 weeks. I know my math isn't super strong, but, uh, we're past that (purchased September 18, EUC received by them September 19). She was sympathetic, and started venting about how she wished that the process...
This is why the process makes no sense to me: I bought my 1123 the week before you, submitted my EUC the day I purchased it, but it wasn't sent to TSC until November 11, and now I am waiting for approval still. Congrats, but I'm just a little jealous at the speed of which yours was processed!
So I called GovPlanet today, and asked if different vehicles had different wait times, or went through different steps. They told me no (which judging from posts here and our friend jwade, that's not correct), so I asked to speak to the next person up, as I feel my EUC is taking longer than...
Yeah, my GovPlanet account says that the EUC was submitted on 11/14/19. So judging from yours I probably have another two weeks. It would be a nice Christmas present I guess!
