I believe that is the same fluid I used in my trans.. Really helped smooth out the shifts :)

Worst case, I will pick up one of the upgraded 130A units from 74M35A2 :) I was thinking about doing that regardless. I've also seen 200A military alternators on eBay.. Not Sure what vehicle they are off of.

Took it for a short drive today after work :driver: I'll probably drive it again tomorrow, because my nephews have never had a ride in it ;) Yesterday I ordered a custom electric cab heater for it. Can't wait to get it installed and see how it works :)

Yeah... I will probably pick up an alternator from you one of these days. And I never did find those heater kits in the classifieds :shrugs:

Drove my truck to work again today.. Man that block heater is ineffective :( This morning it was between 25 and 30 degrees. I left it plugged in for 9 hours last night. Even so, the temp gauge didn't move at all until I was just pulling into the parking lot at work (2 or 3 miles from my house.)...

Drove my truck to work again today.. Good times :) It turned out to be a beautiful day. Sunny and blue skies.. Can't beat that 8-)

Yeah.. It was satisfying :) I definitely plan to add an additional heater (electric) for these cold mornings. But other than that, the 4 days recently that I have used it as my daily driver have gone well :)

Ha. I know I'm not the only one that's used their 5 ton or deuce as a daily driver ;) But I like your plan.. lol :)

Didn't do anything to the truck today, but I did drive it to work again. Going to do it for a full week and see how it goes :)

We had a meeting this morning (6:30) for the whole company at our old building.. Drove the truck to work and parked it on the ramp leading to the loading dock ;) 8-) People got a kick out of it :)

Is it the type of filter that just mounts under the hood? So we're thinking that maybe the filter gauge is just a poor design?

It would be sweet if the grab handle didn't need to be modified. If it wasn't pitch black out right now I would go out and take some measurements. Maybe tomorrow :)
