    939 EUC's ? Months after auction???

Good questions. I was wondering the same. Is this all M939 series or just the M929s?

    M1082

If the pulling truck sits low (some would call average height), the tongue weight will be more than the 881 lbs it is when level as there will be more weight transferred forward.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Do you mean a "modern sporting rifle"? Much more accurate and nonabusive term.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

In a couple weeks there will be!

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Had issues with every square body Chevy truck I ever had. I bought a rebuilt one once that lasted just a few days, so I concluded the design was a flawed idea. Currently my CUCV dont spray at all. Not like it ever sees the interstate and I don't tailgate anyone so I just deal with it. Maybe some...

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

    Reversed batteries yesterday.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Ok. Used my 5-ton to pull both of my M1082s (one at a time, of course) out on pavement to tug to and fro getting the stuck brakes freed. Lesson learned is do not power wash any thing with air brakes without taking down the road a couple miles to dry the brakes out.

    M923A2 Fuel Filter Change Nightmare

Agreed! If we all just go by the TM only, they might as well just shut this site down!

What did you do to your trailer today.

Also repaired a leaky schraeder valve on a M105A2, put 37" tires back on two of my M1101/02s that I had small tires on (but got tired of the silly look), and broke free all four stuck brakes on my M1082s (from pressure washing and not driving immediately afterwards to chase off the water) with...

What did you do to your trailer today.

I attached a sheet of 3/8" plywood to the top of the bows on my M101A1, copying the idea from how I received my other M101 trailer. That will keep water from pooling in between the bows. Before Sinking screws to protect the tarp. The plywood installed. The cover installed over the plywood.

    M923A2 Fuel Filter Change Nightmare

Post 31 shows an air chuck on fuel filler cap. That method does help.

    M923A2 Fuel Filter Change Nightmare

Air into the top of the fuel tank may help as it pushes more fuel into the system, but midway will have the opposite effect, pushing fuel out of the system and displacing it with air. The TMs do help if you have one massive stuffed full of cash wallet so you can replace stuff with a "known...

    M923A2 Fuel Filter Change Nightmare

Do you have a picture of this? An air chuck on the fuel filter housing is very odd.

What have you done to your HEMTT/PLS/MK48 this week

In the -10 it don't mention if I can tow a hemtt with my M1008. Is this safe?

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Isn't 5500 rpm the (normal) redline on a Chevy gasser? I had a 350 sbc that I built that I took to 7000 rpms regularly on the strip before it would float out. Got my best time on 1/8th mile track in 1st gear at 85 mph, in a street station wagon! I would let friends take it down the track and...

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

That's one of the two. You can see part of the other one in front of that one. Looks like original military battery(ies) to me.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Shoot, you could have loaded that on there with no ramps using the hydraulics and drive. https://youtu.be/aggptP6zw7Y

    Forklifting a M1082A1

I got a near mint condition M1061 for $700 that was about the same distance and it cost $1200 to have it delivered. Only bid local now.
