Not that it matters, but I was curious what type of truck he was driving. Apparently, he was driving either an M923 or M925 with super singles. I could not tell from the pic if it was an A1 or A2. One newspaper story (not the one I mentioned above) said he was driving a "deuce and a half"...

Mike, contact Dave Olchak. He had lightbars a while back. I just don't know if he still has them. I don't remember the colors he had, but I believe he might have had multiple colors (e.g., yellow, blue, red).

Yes. I have one, although mine is one of the older ones. It was intended to run a lap top or something like that. I have charged my phone off of it. I also regularly use it to play music (iPod docking station). They do have a more powerful one. I was told the newer and more powerful one...

There is a military folding step for the front bumper of an M44, M39, or M809 series truck. There are a few on eBay. The step folds up, but comes down probably three times as far as the tailgate step mounted on the front bumper. They are really handy.

I don't know what it stands for, but I do recall seeing OZ marked on the sidewall of some of my tires. I could have been on all of them. I never checked. I know I have seen it before, though.

That looks to me to be a WWII truck, although I don't know all the model numbers for that era trucks. It looks extremely clean!

It generally doesn't get very cold in MD. But, it does get cold on occasion. It was recently in the single digits. I've started my 1998 M1078 (with the 3116) and it always fires up. My 2007 M1085A1 with the C7 is a slower starter, but it always starts, too. I assume (and know) Indiana sees...

My father in law had a 1972 and then a 1991 Niva; he gave the 91 to his nephew, and it is still on the road. Not too much change stylistically. Good vehicle. He loved his Niva.
